Translations
Translations by brian friel is a three act play set in the fictional village of ballybeg, it deals with a wide range of issues, stretching from language and communication to Irish history and cultural imperialism. For this play i designed a set suitable for the abbey theatre in dublin. i created a scale model to showcase this design.
Climb not was a collaborative project with a group of film students in 2019, i designed the costumes and part of the tree. the entire set was built within a small team of six people. the film involved a haunted tree which was handmade and a variety of puppets that were crafted for the film.
dreamcatchr was a musical opera that was set to be filmed in febuary 2021, it followed the lives of two sisters as one of them began to lose sense of reality in a dream like world. i contributed to the designs of the set as well as sourcing materials to be used during the filming. the theme of numbers and coding featured heavily in this set.
This was a collaborative project to produce a stop motion animation film to the nursery rhyme "what are little girls made of". the backgrounds featured in this where drawn by me.
